Background:

Chie is of Japanese and American ancestry. Orphaned at a young age, Chie lives in a foster home. She works hard everyday delivering papers, and doing a bevy of other part time jobs in order to be able to purchase the fashionable clothing which she loves. Chie is vain, a little bit selfish, and doesn't mind exploiting other people to her own gain, but she can be an intensely caring person when it strikes her fancy

Chie's life changes forever when a minor accident causes her to be at the right place at the right time to become the first line of defense against a bio mechanical menace which threatens to conquer the Earth.


Artist's Note: This isn't the most detailed picture as it was drawn mostly to be a basic conceptual design for the character. Still, for something I drew so quickly, I'm pretty happy with the details.
