I already know all about Chesia from talking with Nexis several times, so I can't critique this from the point of view of someone who is being introduced to her. So instead I'll try to express how well you captured who this character is.

From what I know of her she's overly sweet, like the embodiment of cuteness and all things warm and huggable (couldn't think of a better word for it, but I think that says it all). So that means the expression is going to be incredibly important in this picture, and I've always said the expression is the hardest thing to draw. Well I have to applaud how well you pulled this off. You were able to craft an expression that is warming and welcoming. It's the kind of look that makes you feel like she would want to talk to you, but is too shy to say anything. You really created some human emotions on this character, and for that I have to congratulate you.

As far as the body goes, you did an excellent job on her figure. Just like the expression, it's both realistic and overly friendly. Her pose and posture kind of reflects her reserved and shy, yet at the same time comforting, personality.

And I can't go without mentioning the coloring job you did here. From her purple hair to her gold bangles, everything pops here and springs off the page. And the warming background color perfectly compliments the colder colors of her clothes and hair, while at the same time being sort of comforting, thereby not overshadowing or contrasting Chesia herself. And colors of course brings me to the lighting, specifically the flame. I have to admit that the mild glow effect on the fire itself was a little too large, it sort of made the fire seem to split off from the page itself, separating itself from the rest of the picture. However, the way that you showed the lighting and shadows across her body were stunning. It was so well done that if I didn't know any better I'd swear you brought in a real model, put a match in her hand, and studied the light, because that's how well done this is.

So overall this picture truly captured Nexis's character, and your use of colors and lighting was truly impressive. Once again you have shown off your talent as an artist by being able to take on someone's original character and do it such justice.

The hair has a good lighting to it, which especially works with how the flames in her hand shines so brightly. The flame itself is impressively textured and fits the fiery flow. Her face is cute and has a good amount of shadowing to highlight some of her face. Her skin also displays a good fixture on the shadowing, with the shirt conveying a splendid brightness around the right breast. The breasts though look a bit uneven in terms of their overall roundness. The right one just looks a tad pointed and more circular and the left one's more ovular shape. That, and the left one also is a bit longer in the vertical department. The arm and hand postures are superbly done and match with the anatomy. The belly is cute, but the way that it's drawn almost makes her skirt almost attached to it. It could have been drawn more hung over like part of it is reaching downwards to signify the stomach's tight situation. Her skirt is nicely shaded and her feet are drawn and shaded exquisitely to showcase her posture.
